You’ve booked your wedding, how exciting now the fun begins. Maybe you’ve already chosen your dress and booked your venue so what else do you need to think about. Hopefully you’ve got plenty of time to get a good skin care routine in place. As a qualified beauty therapist I still live and practice my skin care routine every day without fail, morning and night. I cleanse, tone and moisturise and I love using Liz Earle’s cleanse and polish cream. It is luxury in a bottle and the smell of eucalyptus, rosemary and chamomile will transport you straight to spa heaven. Its inexpensive for its organic active ingredients and comes with a pure muslin cloth. There a lot of products on the market that you can choose from, the key is to get into a routine (if you haven’t already) as soon as possible. Don’t forget your neck, your skin care doesn’t end around your jaw line. Moisturise upwards with your hands. Be kind around your eyes, after all this is the most delicate area. Starting from the inner corners of your eyes moisturise below your eyes outwards gently towards your temples. Like angel wings : ) Getting your skin into a healthy condition will certainly help with your makeup application. Are you drinking enough water? This is also key to keeping your skin hydrated. Look for products that are free from parabens especially if you have sensitive skin and remember no matter how late it is don’t be tempted by using facial wipes. These are very practical and admittedly very quick to use, but don’t do it they will dry your skin and undo all your good work. Need any help? Send me a message I’d love to hear from you.
